Since 1993, Life Strategies Ltd., an award-winning project-based organization, has supported individuals and organizations to be the best they can be. Over the years our services have changed and our scope has expanded - through e-learning initiatives and virtual offices we are connected to colleagues and clients on six continents!

Although Life Strategies is based in Aldergrove, a small village south east of Vancouver, BC, we work with clients and students throughout the world - from remote regions in Northern Canada to such world-class cities as Dubai and Hong Kong. We maintain both a local and global focus - which, not surprisingly, means we spend a lot of time in airports. Strategically, our head office is only 8 minutes away from the nearest one!

Life Strategies offers customized seminars, workshops, courses, and keynotes. Topics include psychometric assessment, work-life balance/sustainability, team strengthening, workplace diversity, career management, and employee development. As our team reflected on the work that we do we realized that it could all be clustered under two headings:

• Strengthening Process

The Supporting People side of the business includes counselling, coaching, and training. If you're looking for personal or professional development, you'll find relevant books, courses, and workshops. We use a variety of tools, including psychometric assessments, to help with career planning and development, finding a sustainable work-life balance, and managing work-related stressors.

The Strengthening Process focus of our work includes support to Human Resource Professionals and leadership teams. Through consulting, customized training, surveys, and research we've helped organizations with recruitment, selection, training, engagement, and leadership development initiatives. We also have extensive experience in supporting gracious exits during times of organizational restructuring or downsizing.

We've remained strongly connected to our roots in career management, playing leadership roles in professional associations and presenting workshops and keynotes at national and international conferences. Our fully online Career Management Professional program has received international recognition, but we also accommodate local demand with retreat-style in-person workshops on our garden patios.
